Orange County Swim Academy

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Orange County Swim Academy’s website and swim lesson services. By booking a lesson or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
Orange County Swim Academy provides private, in-home mobile swim lessons throughout Orange County, California. Lessons are booked online and take place at the address you provide.
2. Booking and Payment
- Lessons must be booked and paid for in advance through our online scheduling system.
- We offer single lessons and discounted multi-lesson packages (6-session and 12-session).
- Package pricing and terms are as displayed at the time of booking.
- Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
3. Liability Waiver
Swimming lessons involve inherent risks. Before a swimmer’s first lesson, a parent or legal guardian must complete and sign a liability waiver, which will be emailed to you after booking. Lessons will not proceed without a signed waiver on file.
4. Eligibility
All bookings must be made by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the swimmer. By booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are the swimmer’s parent or legal guardian, or have their authorization to book on the swimmer’s behalf.
5. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
Orange County Swim Academy offers an SMS messaging program to communicate with customers regarding swim lesson inquiries, bookings, appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, lesson reminders, customer support, and other information related to our services. Customers who separately opt in to marketing messages may also receive occasional promotional messages, including information about availability, seasonal openings, special offers, and discounts.
Participation in our SMS program is optional. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or booking any services.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on your bookings, interactions with us, and communication preferences.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you may receive a final message confirming your opt-out.

Carrier Disclaimer: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless service provider and is outside Orange County Swim Academy’s control.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to consent to receive SMS messages from Orange County Swim Academy.

6. Instructor Conduct and Safety
Our instructors are responsible for the safety of your swimmer during lesson time. A parent or guardian must be present at the lesson location for the duration of the lesson unless other arrangements have been agreed to in advance.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orange County Swim Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, except as otherwise required by the signed liability waiver and applicable law.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
